AI & You

The Chamber is hosting a three part learning series this fall, AI for Small and Medium Businesses, run by the team at ThinkScaleX. The first session will be on September 9, 2026. Details to follow.

Session one is an overview of AI with practical first steps, but sessions two & three haven't been written yet. We would rather hear from you first, so what you put down here is what decides the content.

Just a few questions, about five minutes. Please don't be brief. Write it the way you'd say it to someone over coffee, because short answers leave us guessing and that's exactly what we are trying to avoid.

If you haven't started using AI at all, please say so, that's useful to know. There are no wrong answers here.

Everyone who returns the survey will receive the two prompts from the podcast: the one that turns AI into a thought partner by having it interview you about something you are working on, and the one that helps you work out where AI might fit in your business in the first place.

Please return your answers by September 14, 2026 so there is time to build the sessions around them.
Examples: Restaurant, trades, legal, insurance, accounting, retail, non-profit, manufacturing, distribution, home services, etc.
1b. How many people work in your business, including you?
Anything counts, including nothing at all. Maybe yo have tried it for your business or maybe you use it now and then for an email or a bit of research. Maybe someone one your team is using it and you're not entirely sure what for, or maybe it's already part of how you run something.
Even something small. If the answer is "nothing yet," say that.
Be blunt. What you tried that went nowhere tells us more than almost anything else you could write here, and it stops us fron building a session around something that doesn't work.
Think about the parts of your week you'd like to spend less time on. Could be everday admin, sales, marketing, answering customer questions, hiring and training, finance, research or just working out which tools are worth paying for.
Say it however it comes out. "Nothing much" is a fine answer
6. Would you like the sessions to run online or in person?
